Deepening University-Enterprise Cooperation & Empowering Talent Development — Nanjing Kesen Kenen and Nanjing Normal University’s School of Energy and Mechanical Engineering Successfully Held a Career Empowerment & University-Enterprise Exchange Event

On the afternoon of 29 April 2026, Nanjing Kesen Kenen Environment & Energy Co., Ltd. was invited to visit Nanjing Normal University, where it jointly held a university–enterprise cooperation exchange and career empowerment event with the School of Energy and Mechanical Engineer. Yang Hongyi, First Deputy General Manager of the company, Pan Haibo, Deputy Chief Engineer, and Lu Yan, Assistant to the Head of the General Affairs Department, attended the event on behalf of the company. Wu Xiyuan, Deputy Party Secretary of the School, Sheng Xiong, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, and Xu Ke, counsellor for the 2024 cohort, extended a warm welcome. The event was chaired by Deputy Party Secretary Wu Xiyuan.

At the meeting, Deputy Party Secretary Wu Xiyuan warmly welcomed the company delegation and gave a detailed introduction to the School’s development profile, achievements in discipline construction, and talent cultivation system, demonstrating its solid educational foundation and professional strength in nurturing talent. Deputy General Manager Yang Hongyi spoke on behalf of the company, offering a comprehensive overview of the company’s development history, core business layout, technological strengths in the industry, and talent demand planning, thereby further clarifying the alignment between the two sides and the direction for future cooperation.

During the exchange, both the university and the enterprise agreed that they would give full play to their respective resource advantages, promote resource sharing and complementary strengths, focus on enhancing students’ practical capabilities and employment competitiveness, and work together to cultivate more high-calibre, application-oriented professionals for the energy and environmental protection industry. Finally, the company and the School formally signed an agreement to jointly establish an internship and practical training base for university students.
After the signing ceremony, led by Deputy Party Secretary Wu Xiyuan, the company representatives visited the School’s laboratories and gained an in-depth understanding of the School’s educational history, laboratory platform development, key research directions, practical teaching conditions, and students’ achievements in innovation and practice.
On the same day, the company’s dedicated information session was incorporated into the School’s 2027 cohort career empowerment programme. Deputy Chief Engineer Pan Haibo delivered a presentation focusing on the development trends of the energy industry, career paths for thermal-energy-related majors, the company’s core position requirements, and career planning for university students. He actively interacted with students on site and answered their questions, helping them accurately understand industry prospects, clarify job competency requirements, and develop a sound approach to employment.
This university–enterprise cooperation exchange has further built a communication bridge between the company and the School of Energy and Mechanical Engineer of Nanjing Normal University, deepened practical cooperation between the two sides, and provided strong support for the company to attract high-quality professional talent and broaden its talent reserve channels. Looking ahead, Nanjing Kesen Kenen Environment & Energy Co., Ltd. will continue to deepen its collaborative talent cultivation partnerships with universities, actively build platforms for internship practice and career empowerment, achieve mutual success in enterprise development and talent cultivation, and inject new talent-driven momentum into the high-quality development of the energy and environmental protection industry.
