On 13 October 2026, Nanjing Kesen Kenen Environment & Energy Co., Ltd. held its 2026 Third-Quarter Business Operations Meeting in the company’s main conference room. More than 30 participants attended the meeting, including Tu Zhengrui, Hou Bincai, other senior executives, and key personnel at middle management level and above. The meeting was chaired by Hou Bincai.

At the meeting, heads of the Domestic Business Division, Overseas Business Division, Design Institute, Operations Management Department, and General Affairs Department reported in turn on the achievement of their respective operating targets for the third quarter and the first three quarters against their annual Target Responsibility Agreements. Each department highlighted its achievements while objectively reviewing existing shortcomings, formulated follow-up improvement measures, and set out its work plan for the fourth quarter, pledging to make an all-out push to ensure the achievement of annual targets. Other participants exchanged views and offered suggestions on a range of topics, including leveraging technological innovation to drive market expansion, diversifying the company’s business portfolio, developing and maintaining overseas markets, localising operations in key overseas regions, strengthening project quality control, maintaining relationships with existing clients, optimising the workforce structure, developing new employees, and improving subsidiary management.

Against the backdrop of the current complex and challenging economic environment at home and abroad, General Manager Hou outlined six priorities for the fourth quarter. First, the company must continue to leverage technological innovation to drive market development and advance R&D in areas such as the localisation of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology, waste-to-energy plant retrofits, and captive power plant optimisation. Second, the marketing team must embrace a pioneering spirit and actively translate the company’s technological strengths into concrete projects. Third, the company must strengthen its corporate communications and carry out online promotion through channels such as Google and ChatGPT, making it easier for prospective clients to locate the company through relevant keyword searches. Fourth, the company must establish deeper roots in overseas markets, look beyond the waste heat power generation sector, expand its business in response to local needs, and actively pursue market opportunities. Fifth, greater attention must be given to early-stage project planning, with comprehensive estimates of project costs and labour costs prepared in advance. Sixth, the Trade Union and the General Affairs Department should take the lead in strengthening corporate culture and fostering a positive, energetic, and enterprising spirit among employees.

Chairman Tu set out several requirements. First, given the challenging market environment, all employees must develop a proactive business development mindset and maintain resilience in their work. Second, the company must play to its strengths, mitigate its weaknesses, build on its core competitive advantages, and further enhance its market reputation. Third, cost reduction and efficiency enhancement must be pursued with an appropriate balance, with cost-reduction measures planned before project bidding begins. Fourth, talent is critical to the company’s operations and development, and greater efforts must be made to cultivate versatile professionals with expertise in technology, construction, markets, and management. Fifth, he encouraged all employees to become dedicated strivers who possess confidence, perseverance, responsibility, and aspirations.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter of 2026, the company’s management called on all employees to remain aligned with the direction set at the mid-year review and this Business Operations Meeting, take a hard look at existing shortcomings, unite in purpose, pursue results through solid execution, and strive to excel. The company will make an all-out push to accomplish all annual targets and objectives, ensuring steady, sustainable progress and continued positive development.
