Forged Through Two Decades of Trials, United in Shaping the Future — Kesen Kenen’s 20th Anniversary Team-Building Event Successfully Held

With the fullness of autumn in the air and light clouds drifting across a clear sky, it is the perfect time to embrace nature and strengthen team bonds. To enhance team cohesion, forge a highly efficient, collaborative workforce, and foster a positive, aspirational atmosphere—while also celebrating the company’s twentieth anniversary—Nanjing Kesen Kenen Environment & Energy Co., Ltd. held a themed team-building event, “Forged Through Two Decades of Trials, United in Shaping the Future,” on 13–14 November 2025 at the picturesque, lawn-covered Zaolin Mountain Villa in Yizheng City.
On the afternoon of 13 November, before the activities officially began, Chairman Tu Zhengrui delivered a passionate address. He spoke with great emotion about the company’s journey since its founding on 3 November 2005: over twenty years of hardship and perseverance, during which Kesen Kenen has grown from a small start-up into a leading enterprise in the waste heat power generation industry, with hundreds of employees and more than 110 patents to its name.
Since its establishment twenty years ago, the company has adhered to the business philosophy of “low carbon, high efficiency, green dream,” implementing more than 300 energy-saving and environmental-protection projects in over twenty provinces and municipalities across China and in more than twenty countries worldwide, thus making a major contribution to global energy conservation and environmental protection. Chairman Tu stressed that every achievement of the company embodies the wisdom and hard work of all employees, for which the company extends its heartfelt gratitude. At the same time, he noted that the accomplishments of the past two decades are only a glorious prelude; the challenges of the future will be the true test. Therefore, all employees must keep learning and innovating, work in unity, improve quality and efficiency, and open up an even brighter tomorrow for the company.
Following Chairman Tu’s speech, under the guidance of professional team-building coaches and gathered beside a banner reading “Twenty Years of Triumph, United in This Moment; Opening New Chapters, Building the Future Together,” participants were divided into eight groups and took part in a series of activities, including “Braving the Minefield,” “Life-Size Monopoly,” “Performance Decoding,” and “Ultimate Frisbee.”
Once the activities began, team members divided tasks and cooperated closely. On the field, they gave their all and strove to take the lead, creating a tense yet exhilarating atmosphere. Off the field, they offered ideas, formulated tactics, and cheered one another on, all determined to push their teams to the top. The entire venue was filled with a spirit of unity, hard work, and high morale.
After a day and a half of keen competition, Teams One, Two, and Five stood out through outstanding teamwork, efficient decision-making, and a tenacious fighting spirit, winning first, second, and third place respectively. Company leaders presented awards to the three winning teams.
This team-building event not only allowed employees to relax and unwind after their busy work schedules, but also, through challenging and engaging activities, effectively strengthened the team’s cohesion, sense of belonging, and collective drive. All employees will carry the fighting spirit, mutual trust, and team awareness demonstrated during the event into their daily work, and— with greater enthusiasm, higher morale, and closer collaboration—contribute even more to the company’s future development.
