On July 1, 2022, in order to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the founding of the CPC, the party branch of Nanjing Kaisheng Kaineng Environmental Energy Co., Ltd. organized more than 20 party members in Nanjing to visit and study the Red Base in Taizhou with the theme of "shouldering a new mission, writing a new chapter, and demonstrating a new responsibility", and welcomed the 20th CPC National Congress with practical actions. Comrade Tu Zhengrui, General Manager of Kaisheng Kaineng, also participated in this activity.
At the first stop, we came to the memorial hall of the birthplace of the navy. We saw a group of retired bombers, fighter planes, helicopters and other weapons in the outdoor square. Step on the winding ladder and enter the exhibition hall of the memorial hall. With the explanation of the interpreter, we learned about the history of the Chinese nation on the sea since modern times.
The memorial hall is rich in objects and hundreds of pictures. Behind each exhibit are unforgettable stories, which have been sung by people up to now.
On April 23, 1949, according to the order of the Central Military Commission, the first naval force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the East China Military Region Navy, was announced here. Over the past 70 years, under the strong leadership of the CPC, the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy has grown rapidly, and the Navy has also experienced the development process from scratch, from weak to strong. Today, China has become a naval power with aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates and other warships.
At the second stop, we came to the Navy Ship Culture Park and visited the retired "three ships and one ship" of the People's Navy: 881 Hongze Lake Supply Ship, 108 Xining Destroyer, 515 Xiamen frigate and 274 conventional powered submarines.
Through close contact with the ship, we fully understand the work and life of naval officers and men on the ship, and deeply feel the glorious deeds, firm ideals and beliefs, and hard struggle of the navy.
The activity of exploring the red ruins and carrying forward the revolutionary spirit made comrades deeply realize the excellent quality of the Communist Party members who are strict with themselves and actively undertake, and also played a good educational role in carrying forward and practicing the revolutionary spirit.
