On the morning of 16 July 2026, Nanjing Kesen Kenen Environment & Energy Co., Ltd. held a new employee welcome meeting under the theme “Passing the Torch to Nurture New Talent, Uniting Hearts and Strengths for Shared Development”. The meeting took place in the company’s main conference room and was attended by the senior management team and managers at middle level and above. Chief Financial Officer Xia Qifeng chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, six newly recruited employees introduced themselves in turn, sharing their personal strengths and interests, career plans, and aspirations for future development. The heads of the company’s functional departments also introduced their respective team structures, business scopes, and core responsibilities. They expressed their sincere expectations for the growth of all new employees, encouraging them to adapt quickly to their new roles, continuously enhance their professional skills, and advance together with the company.

The company’s senior management warmly welcomed the new employees to Kesen Kenen and offered them constructive advice and clear expectations. General Manager Hou Bincai provided guidance on professional growth, focusing on four essential workplace competencies. First, new employees should maintain a beginner’s mindset, set aside the prestige of their previous qualifications and experience, and approach their positions with a fresh outlook while creating tangible results. Second, they should pursue comprehensive and continuous learning by following the development path of “acquiring knowledge, applying knowledge, and creating through innovation”. Career development generally progresses through three stages: professional specialist, versatile professional, and business and management leader. Employees should first cultivate deep professional expertise, then broaden their overall capabilities, and ultimately develop strong managerial and leadership skills. Third, they should strengthen their sense of responsibility and accountability, look inward when problems arise rather than relying on external excuses, and allow data and results to demonstrate the value of their work. Fourth, they should develop resilience under pressure, face the various challenges of professional life with courage, and maintain an optimistic and positive outlook.

Drawing on his own professional experience, Chairman Tu Zhengrui also set out three core expectations. First, employees should strive for self-improvement and remain confident, face the inevitable fluctuations of professional life, and maintain firm confidence in their own development. Second, they should not be overly concerned with short-term gains and losses and should be prepared to work hard. During the early stages of their careers, young employees must remain diligent and grounded in order to build a solid foundation for long-term development. Third, they should embrace lifelong learning. Academic qualifications are merely an entry ticket to the profession; those who are unwilling to learn and content with the status quo can easily be left behind by the industry. He reminded the new employees to establish a reputation for diligence and dependability from the outset, accumulate experience through steadfast effort, and demonstrate their value through concrete action.

Finally, Chief Financial Officer Xia Qifeng delivered the concluding remarks and put forward the “Four New Commitments”: standing at a new starting point, striving along a new journey, carrying forward the path of innovation, and setting sail for new blue oceans. He encouraged all new employees to embrace lofty aspirations and commit themselves to becoming key professionals capable of taking full responsibility in their respective fields.
